Our story began when our founder, Daryl Muslow, started his career as a captive agent with Liberty Mutual. Realizing the limitations of offering only one company's products to his clients, he knew he could serve his community better. In 1980, he opened the doors to Muslow Insurance near downtown Shreveport to provide local families with honest, independent insurance advice.
Over the decades, the agency grew alongside the Shreveport-Bossier community, eventually relocating to our current office on Fern Avenue. The family tradition deepened when Eric Muslow joined the agency in 1996 to expand and lead our commercial lines division. We officially became a third-generation business when Dylan Muslow joined in 2017.
Today, our fully licensed team works together daily to protect Northwest Louisiana. Eric oversees commercial insurance for local businesses. Dylan and his wife, Mallory, manage our personal lines division—specializing in home, auto, and umbrella coverage—while Heather Muslow ensures our agency operations run smoothly.
